I made these a little while back as birthday presents for some friends. One really likes rainbows and one is my favorite sci-fi nerd. It was good to sit down and draw again for the first time in a long time.

I came across an old sketchbook of mine recently. These are a few sketches that I liked from it.

Never been there; I just like it.

I tend to draw a lot of these for some reason.

Like I said, random sketches.

Gorillas are cool.

Elephants are cooler.

There seems to be an animal theme to this sketchbook.

A Portrait of my Grandma

This is my grandma. She was visiting from Colombia recently, and she had no idea that I knew how to draw well. When she found out, she wanted me to draw her a rose or something simple as a keepsake, but she was too shy to ask. My mom told me. Her birthday was coming up so I decided to draw this portrait for her. She loved it. I’m now officially her favorite grandson.

I did these drawings during a life drawing class I took. They’re mostly copies from “master sketches”. I don’t remember who, though. I think one was originally by Raphael.
