This is my grandma. She was visiting from Colombia recently, and she had no idea that I knew how to draw well. When she found out, she wanted me to draw her a rose or something simple as a keepsake, but she was too shy to ask. My mom told me. Her birthday was coming up so I decided to draw this portrait for her. She loved it. I’m now officially her favorite grandson.

Hi Luis,
I have tried three times to comment on your drawing because it deserves comment every time I get accused of being a spammer so this is my third and final try.
You portrait of grandma is excellent and deserving of credit because I know that portraits are not the easiest subjects to draw from experience. I also know very well how it is more difficult when doing it for the person themselves because it as to be accurate as they know what they look like.
So congratulations on your drawing and nice mark making, tonal modeling I hope your still drawing such good pictures.
Thank you, Gareth.
